Recently named one of the Top Ten places to live by Seattle Metropolitan magazine, Kent is fast becoming one of the Seattle area’s most desired communities.

The January 2009 launch of ShoWare Center marks the beginning of a new era for Kent where the community will truly become a regional destination. In addition to Thunderbirds hockey, concerts and family shows, ShoWare Center will host several community-focused events throughout the year. Finally, Kent will have its own premier venue to host high school graduations, regional athletic tournaments and other events.
