PRINTABLE DIRECTIONS

Directions By Car:

ShoWare Center is located near many major highways and arterials, therefore there are several routes from which to choose. When using common mapping and navigation services you'll get varied results. These directions should provide the easiest and least congested route from your area.   

From Seattle, I-5 traveling south:
Take exit 149 S. Kent/Des Moines Rd. Follow Kent/Des Moines Rd. as it becomes W. Willis St.  Turn left onto 4th Ave.  From 4th Ave., turn left on W. James St. and ShoWare Center will be on your right.

From Tacoma, I-5 traveling north:
Take exit 149A S. Kent/Des Moines Rd. Follow Kent/Des Moines Rd. as it becomes W. Willis St. Turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on W. James St. and ShoWare Center will be on your right.

From Bellevue/Renton, southbound on 167:
Take the Willis St. exit. Turn left onto Willis St. and then turn left onto 4th Ave.  From 4th Ave., turn left on W. James St. and ShoWare Center will be on your right.

From North Bend, westbound I-90 to Hwy 18:
Follow HWY 18 to the Covington Exit. Turn right onto Kent-Kangley Rd. Follow Kent-Kangley Rd. and turn left onto SE 256th St. Continue down the hill which changes into W. Smith. Turn right onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on W. James Street and ShoWare Center will be on your right.

From Puyallup and Auburn, northbound on 167:
Take the Willis St. exit. Turn right onto Willis St. and then turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on W. James St. and ShoWare Center will be on your right.

HELPFUL TIP FOR MAJOR EVENTS:
From 4th Ave. turn left PRIOR to W. James St. on W. Smith St. to access south entrance to James Street Park & Ride.  

 


 

By Bus:

There are more than twenty bus routes that serve downtown Kent and there are three Metro King County Bus Stops within one block of ShoWare Center.

By Train:

ShoWare Center's close proximity to Sounder Commuter rail offers access to passengers who use the train from Kent during on weekdays. Instead of heading home after work, enjoy pre-function time at any of the wonderful eateries in downtown before walking over to the game or show.

By Bike:

ShoWare Center has 50 bike racks for our pedaling guests. Located adjacent to the Interurban Trail and just minutes from the Green River Trail, there are many off-road ways to get to ShoWare Center.

ShoWare Center features FREE parking onsite, and in several lots within close walking distance. Also, 90 parking stalls are reserved in ShoWare Center's west lot for drivers of low-emission/fuel-efficient vehicles and/or carpools of four or more. Parking attendants and signage is in place to direct qualifying vehicles to the designated parking stalls. Spaces are limited and are filled on a first come, first served basis, therefore arriving early is advised.

Attention Fans: If you plan to visit Kent Station before or after the game, please park at ShoWare Center or one of the many free lots nearby (see map), then enjoy the great food, drink & shopping options available. As a courtesy to Kent Station's patrons, please do not leave your vehicle at Kent Station during the game.

 

 


FREE PARKING! Getting to ShoWare Center is easy. It's just 20 minutes from Seattle, Bellevue or Tacoma. You may also choose from a variety of other transportation options including public transit and convenient bike routes. And once you get there, the parking is always free. FREE PARKING!
